The Vet Office is recruiting an Experienced Veterinary Surgeon to join a modern and recently upgraded small animal practice in Mahon Point Cork.

This is a great opportunity for a vet with 3 years experience looking for a well-equipped clinical environment a varied caseload and the opportunity to continue developing their medical and surgical skills.

The Clinic

The practice has recently been upgraded and offers excellent facilities including:

4 consultation rooms
Separate dog ward
Separate cat ward
Isolation facilities
Dedicated operating theatre
Digital X-ray
In-house laboratory
Ultrasound
Dedicated dental suite
Dental X-ray

The facilities allow vets to investigate and manage a wide range of cases in-house before considering referral.

The Role

Youll manage a varied small animal caseload across:

  • Consultations
  • Routine surgery
  • Medical case management
  • Diagnostics and imaging
  • Dentistry
  • Preventative healthcare
  • Hospitalised patients

Youll have responsibility for your own cases while working collaboratively with the wider veterinary and nursing team.

Salary

gross/year depending on experience.
