Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Health & Safety Officer to support the implementation and continuous improvement of health safety and wellbeing standards across engineering and project environments. The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting a positive safety culture ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and supporting operational teams in achieving the highest safety standards.
- Conduct site inspections audits and risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety legislation and company procedures.
- Investigate incidents near misses and implement corrective actions.
- Deliver safety inductions toolbox talks and awareness training.
- Support project teams in developing safe systems of work and method statements.
- Maintain accurate safety records and documentation.
- Promote a proactive and positive safety culture across all activities.
Required Skills:
Relevant Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH Diploma Degree or equivalent). Minimum 3 years experience in a Health & Safety role within engineering construction manufacturing or industrial environments. Strong knowledge of Irish Health & Safety legislation. Excellent communication organisational and problem-solving skills. Full driving licence.
