Director Protection & Controls Ireland (Dublin / Cork hybrid) Permanent Competitive salary (circa 20 years experience) confirmed on screening

With major transmission frameworks active and a secured multi-year pipeline of work our client is seeking a Director to define and lead its P&C strategy.

This is a defining leadership appointment inside one of the strongest framework positions in the transmission market with ownership of strategy clients and capability growth.

Stability / Longevity: A secured long-horizon pipeline of transmission work measured in years not quarters with active bidding across the Irish grid and an established regional presence.

Hours: Days with genuine hybrid flexibility typically two days per week in a regional office and flexibility on which days. This is not a covert return-to-office mandate.

Off the back of an unusually strong framework position and continued growth our client is seeking a Director to define and lead its Protection & Controls strategy across Ireland and Europe.

As a Director you will define P&C strategy own key client relationships and P&L and drive capability growth and industry presence. You will provide the ultimate technical and commercial leadership for the discipline working within the requirements of the relevant grid bodies including EirGrid and ESB Networks and set the direction for a team that is being actively built out.

Successful applicants must be able to demonstrate senior strategic transmission leadership with a foundation in 400kV design gained on major grid or network programmes typically underpinned by Chartered Engineer status a design-led P&C background and a proven record of owning client relationships commercial performance and capability development at the most senior level.
