Job Summary

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in healthcare recruitment for domestic and overseas candidates across hospitals nursing homes home care and community care.

We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager to lead and support the nursing team in a nursing home in Kildare Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strong clinical leadership ensuring high standards of resident care and supporting the effective day-to-day management of the nursing home.


RESPONSIBILITIES
  • As needed give nursing and care personnel coaching and mentoring.
  • Serve as a daily support system for the clinical staff.
  • Organize each residents daily care according to their needs and present condition.
  • Encourage and assist nurses with evidence-based training and assessment.
  • Put into practice the risk management plans that the governance committee has created.
  • Keep an eye out for and report any environmental risks.
  • Observe employees adherence to local risk management infection control and health and safety regulations.




Requirements
  • NMBI Registration: Be registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI) with a minimum of 5 years post-registration nursing experience preferably in a nursing home or older persons care setting.

  • Qualifications: A post-registration qualification in Nursing Management and/or Nursing Older People is desirable.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Demonstrate strong knowledge of HIQA standards national regulations professional codes and standards relating to residential care services for older people and their application to the CNM role.

  • Clinical & Governance Skills: Demonstrate knowledge and experience in auditing risk management health and safety quality improvement planning and organisational management.

  • Leadership & Communication: Possess strong leadership management communication interpersonal conflict-resolution and motivational skills with the ability to lead and support a nursing team effectively.
