Job Summary

RecruitNet International Ltd specialises in Healthcare recruitment for Domestic and Overseas candidates for Hospitals Nursing Homes Home care and Community care.

We are hiring a Clinical Nurse Manager for a leading Nursing Home in Co Kildare.

Job Type: Permanent / Full-time

Responsibilities
  • Assess plan implement and evaluate nursing care for residents/service users.
  • Lead the nursing team in delivering person-centred care.
  • Prepare and administer medications in line with company policy and Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland guidelines.
  • Ensure service users hygiene and personal care needs are maintained to the highest standards while preserving dignity at all times.
  • Act in place of the Director of Nursing during absences or emergencies.
  • Plan and allocate staff teams with the appropriate skill mix and experience to meet clinical demands and ensure continuity of care.
  • Organise fair and accurate duty rosters holiday schedules and leave arrangements while maximising available resources.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Nursing in preparing implementing and evaluating budgets and service plans.
  • Monitor and control the use of supplies and ensure proper use of equipment.
  • Identify projected resource needs through regular inventory checks and maintain appropriate stock levels.
  • Lead by example promoting a strong team culture with a positive and motivational approach.
  • Support train and guide staff while maintaining a positive working environment.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to junior nursing and care staff


Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years post-registration experience.

  • Proven track record in team leadership and performance management.

  • At least 3 years experience in Care of the Elderly.

  • Demonstrated commitment to Continuous Professional Development (CPD).

  • Strong ability to lead motivate and support a multidisciplinary team.

  • Management qualification is desirable.

  • Required Skills:
