Applications Technician Roofing

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Applications Technician to join our Roofing this role you will be responsible for providing expert technical advice & training to our customers helping them to ensure that Sika roofing systems are installed in accordance with specification

• Carry out site inspections ensuring that the system is being installed in accordance with the specification and technical manual by appropriate trained operatives.
• Offer advice and assistance relating to installation on site 
• Carry out on site testing as required using industry standard equipment
• Provide training to ensure operatives have the required skills and knowledge to enable them to install Sika Roofing Systems.

Qualifications :

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a construction related technical/specification sales role preferred
• Previous experience of or technical advice for flat roofing systems will be an advantage
• Experience of conducting building site inspections/surveys and liaising with Contractors and Designers will be advantageous 
• Ability to understand key building regulations and construction details relating to roofing systems will be highly desirable
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
• Valid drivers license
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
