Job Summary

INTECH Process Automation is seeking a seasoned QA/QC Engineer to join our Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team. The QA/QC Engineer will be responsible for implementing and monitoring quality assurance and quality control requirements for project and maintenance activities. The role ensures compliance with approved QCPs ITPs specifications inspection requirements calibration controls material traceability Ex requirements NCR/CAR processes and final handover documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Implement and monitor QA/QC plans procedures ITPs inspection requirements and project specifications.
  2. Coordinate inspections witness points hold points testing and acceptance activities with relevant stakeholders.
  3. Review method statements inspection procedures test records drawings specifications and quality documentation.
  4. Verify material certificates material traceability equipment records and compliance with approved specifications.
  5. Control and verify calibration status and certificates for inspection measurement and test equipment.
  6. Inspect and verify installation workmanship testing commissioning and completed work against approved requirements.
  7. Manage NCRs observations corrective actions and CARs including follow-up and close-out verification.
  8. Verify hazardous-area/Ex documentation inspection records certificates and installation compliance where applicable.
  9. Monitor quality performance identify recurring issues and support RCA and continuous quality improvement.
  10. Coordinate with Engineering Project Construction Maintenance Operations HSE vendors and contractors on quality matters.
  11. Review and verify inspection/test records punch lists certificates and acceptance documentation.
  12. Compile and review final QA/QC dossiers as-built records test packs certificates and handover documentation.
  13. Maintain accurate quality registers inspection status NCR/CAR logs calibration records and quality reports.
  14. Support quality audits client inspections surveillance activities and compliance assessments.
  15. Ensure compliance with company procedures applicable standards PTW/HSE requirements and contractual quality requirements.



Requirements:

To Be Successful in This Role You Must Have:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering with role-specific certification where applicable.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant oil & gas/industrial experience including at least 3 years as a QA/QC Engineer or in a related quality discipline.
  • Strong experience with QA/QC plans ITPs inspection procedures test records and quality documentation.
  • Knowledge of inspection hold/witness points acceptance criteria testing and quality verification.
  • Experience with material certificates traceability vendor documentation and equipment records.
  • Strong knowledge of calibration control and inspection measurement and test equipment requirements.
  • Experience managing NCRs CARs corrective actions RCA and close-out activities.
  • Knowledge of hazardous-area/Ex documentation and inspection requirements where applicable.
  • Experience reviewing inspection/test packs punch lists certificates as-built records and final handover dossiers.
  • Strong understanding of quality standards project specifications company procedures and contractual requirements.
  • Experience coordinating with clients Engineering Project Construction Operations Maintenance vendors and contractors.
  • Strong technical reporting documentation communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Relevant QA/QC certification such as ISO 9001 CSWIP AWS NACE/AMPP or discipline-specific certification as applicable is desirable.
