Job Summary

INTECH Process Automation is seeking a skilled Planner/Scheduler to join our Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team. The selected Planner/Scheduler will develop maintain and control integrated maintenance and execution schedules for activities. The role ensures that work is properly planned resources and materials are identified and loaded constraints are managed and execution progress is accurately monitored and reported.

The Planner / Scheduler shall coordinate closely with Maintenance Operations Engineering HSE Procurement Warehouse and field execution teams to ensure that planned work is executable prioritized according to operational requirements and completed within the approved schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain maintenance and execution schedules covering preventive corrective shutdown turnaround and project activities.
  • Convert approved work requests into executable work packages and job plans including manpower materials equipment tools permits access and durations.
  • Prepare daily weekly monthly and look-ahead schedules prioritizing work based on operational requirements equipment criticality safety and production needs.
  • Perform resource loading and identify/manage constraints related to manpower materials permits engineering deliverables isolations equipment and access.
  • Maintain and analyze the maintenance backlog including overdue aging and critical work orders.
  • Monitor and measure actual progress against baseline schedules and provide schedule forecasts productivity reports S-curves progress curves and manpower reports.
  • Coordinate with Procurement Warehouse Engineering HSE Operations and field teams to ensure all materials technical documents permits isolations and other prerequisites are available before execution.
  • Support shutdown and turnaround planning including activity sequencing resource loading duration estimation and progress tracking.
  • Maintain accurate schedule logic milestones constraints forecasts and completion dates.
  • Consolidate field progress and ensure reported progress accurately reflects actual work completion.
  • Prepare daily weekly and monthly planning/progress reports for management and COMPANY.
  • Maintain accurate CMMS/SAP work-order and planning data and historical planning records.
  • Identify opportunities to improve work sequencing resource utilization schedule performance and maintenance efficiency while ensuring compliance with COMPANY HSE and contract requirements.

Requirements:

To Be Successful in This Role You Must Have:

  • Relevant Engineering Degree or quivalent; professional certification in planning scheduling project controls or maintenance planning is advantageous.
  • Minimum 5 years of oil & gas experience including at least 3 years in Planner/Scheduler or equivalent planning roles.
  • Experience in maintenance brownfield projects plant operations shutdowns turnarounds or industrial facilities preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of CMMS/SAP PM/CM planning work-pack development maintenance backlog management and resource loading.
  • Competent in schedule development logic critical-path analysis constraint management look-ahead planning progress measurement forecasting and reporting.
  • Experience in shutdown/turnaround planning material planning permit/isolation coordination and schedule risk management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and planning/reporting tools.
