Job Summary

INTECH Process Automation is seeking a seasoned ICSS Technician to join our Operations & Maintenance (O&M) team. The ICSS Technician is responsible for routine inspection maintenance troubleshooting support and functional testing of DCS SIS PLC and associated ICSS hardware. The role supports system availability hardware integrity backups testing and safe restoration of control-system functions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine ICSS/DCS/SIS/PLC inspections health checks and preventive maintenance.
  • Inspect troubleshoot and replace controllers I/O modules cabinets power supplies and communication hardware.
  • Support ICSS diagnostics alarm/log review backups restoration and system verification.
  • Perform field simulation signal/loop checks Cause & Effect and functional testing.
  • Inspect basic network components communication links and connections.
  • Maintain ICSS spares tools and test equipment.
  • Record maintenance activities test results replacements and system deviations in CMMS.
  • Support troubleshooting emergency recovery and controlled return to service.
  • Coordinate with Operations Instrumentation Electrical and ICSS Engineering teams.
  • Comply with PTW LOTO HSE cybersecurity and site ICSS procedures.

Requirements:

To Be Successful in This Role You Must Have:

  • Technical Diploma/ITI in Instrumentation Electronics Automation Electrical or relevant discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in oil & gas petrochemical or comparable industrial facilities including at least 3 years as an ICSS/Control Systems Technician.
  • Hands-on experience with DCS SIS PLC controllers I/O modules and control-system cabinets.
  • Knowledge of hardware replacement diagnostics basic platform navigation and system health checks.
  • Experience supporting backups/restores field simulation loop checks and functional testing.
  • Basic knowledge of industrial communication networks and network components.
  • Ability to extract and review system logs alarms and diagnostic information.
  • Experience with spare-parts management and maintenance documentation/CMMS.
  • Good understanding of PTW LOTO HSE and control-system maintenance procedures.
