Job Role

The Sales Engineer is responsible for driving business growth by identifying new project opportunities developing strategic client relationships and delivering technical sales solutions for high-voltage electrical equipment. Working closely with engineering project and production teams this role manages the full sales cyclefrom prospecting and technical presentations to commercial negotiations and project handover.

The successful candidate will focus on building strong relationships with utility companies EPC contractors industrial manufacturers power generation companies mining operators and other infrastructure clients while supporting the successful execution of large-scale electrical equipment projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new business opportunities and expand sales within the power utilities EPC industrial mining and oil & gas sectors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers consultants and project stakeholders.
• Deliver technical presentations prepare commercial proposals and recommend suitable electrical equipment solutions based on customer requirements.
• Monitor project pipelines tender opportunities and procurement activities related to power transmission and electrical infrastructure.
• Coordinate closely with engineering production quality and project management teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
• Support tender submissions contract negotiations project documentation and post-sales activities while ensuring compliance with company quality and safety standards.
• Conduct regular customer visits site meetings and industry networking activities to strengthen market presence and identify new opportunities.

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering Mechanical Engineering Industrial Engineering Business or a related field.
• Minimum 35 years of B2B sales or sales engineering experience within electrical equipment manufacturing power systems transformers EPC or related industries.
• Proven experience handling utility companies EPC contractors or large industrial customers.
• Strong understanding of transformers high-voltage electrical equipment substations switchgear or power distribution systems.
• Experience managing technical sales processes project tenders commercial negotiations and long-term customer relationships.
• Professional working proficiency in English.
• Strong communication negotiation presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Willing to complete an initial training period in Cikarang before being based full-time in Jakarta.
