Job Summary

Role description

As a Business Development Specialist you will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities building strategic customer partnerships and driving sustainable business growth. You will work closely with cross-functional teams potential business partners customers to understand market needs develop innovative business solutions and translate market insights into commercial success. This role requires a combination of market analysis customer engagement project management and strategic planning to support the Companys long-term business objectives.

Your Mission

Identify Market Opportunities
Analyze market trends customer needs competitor activities and the Companys capabilities to identify and develop new business opportunities.
Build Strategic Partnerships
Establish and maintain strong relationships with customers and business partners through effective communication project management and commercial collaboration.
Drive Business
Support sustainable revenue growth by evaluating business opportunities conducting market analysis and contributing to strategic business decisions.
Lead Innovation
Transform customer insights market trends and emerging opportunities into value-added business solutions and new commercial initiatives.
Monitor Business Performance
Prepare forecasts business reports and performance analyses to track progress evaluate outcomes and support continuous business improvement.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree or higher in Business Administration Economics Marketing or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Sales Business Development or a related commercial role.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and support business decisions.
Strong analytical thinking problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Detail-oriented well-organized and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
Proactive mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and drive initiatives independently.
Excellent communication presentation and documentation skills.
Professional proficiency in English is required; German language skills are an advantage.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the Flavour & Fragrance or FMCG industry is preferred.
Experience working in a multinational or global company will be an advantage.
Knowledge of current trends and developments in the tobacco and nicotine industry is an advantage.
