Banquet Supervisor Assistant Manager

• Supervise banquet operations before during and after events
• Lead brief coach and motivate the banquet team
• Ensure seamless execution of meetings weddings conferences and social events
• Coordinate event setups room layouts table arrangements equipment and service requirements
• Ensure all events are delivered in line with Novotel service standards
• Coordinate closely with Culinary Events Stewarding and other hotel departments
• Monitor food and beverage service presentation timing and quality
• Welcome guests and respond promptly to requests concerns and special requirements
• Conduct pre-event briefings and communicate event details VIP requirements and special arrangements
• Monitor team grooming service etiquette cleanliness and professional standards
• Coach and develop team members through on-the-job training and constructive feedback
• Monitor banquet equipment and inventory and report shortages damages or maintenance requirements
• Ensure compliance with food safety hygiene health and safety standards

Qualifications :

• Diploma or Bachelors degree in Hospitality Management Hotel Management or a related field is preferred.

• Minimum 2 years of experience in banquet or F&B operations preferably in a hotel or resort.

• Previous supervisory experience is an advantage.

• Good knowledge of banquet service standards event setup food and beverage service and function operations.

• Strong leadership and team supervision skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Good command of English; additional languages are an advantage.

• Able to work under pressure and manage multiple events or tasks simultaneously.

• Professional appearance and strong guest-service orientation.

• Flexible to work shifts weekends public holidays and extended hours based on event requirements.
