Assistant Executive Housekeeper

We are seeking a detail-oriented and collaborative Assistant Executive Housekeeper to join our hospitality team in Jakarta this role you will work alongside the Executive Housekeeper to ensure exceptional standards of cleanliness hygiene and guest satisfaction across all areas of our property. • Assist the Executive Housekeeper in planning organizing and supervising daily housekeeping operations to ensure seamless departmental performance
• Maintain and enforce high standards of cleanliness hygiene and presentation in all guest rooms public areas back-of-house facilities and common spaces
• Supervise coordinate and support the work of Room Attendants Public Area Attendants Housemen and other housekeeping staff members
• Conduct regular and thorough inspections of guest rooms and public areas to verify compliance with hotel standards and identify areas for improvement
• Monitor room status and communicate effectively with the Front Office team regarding room availability maintenance issues VIP arrivals early check-ins and special guest requests
• Prepare and manage staff schedules work assignments attendance records and daily operational reports with accuracy and transparency
• Train coach and motivate housekeeping employees to enhance productivity service quality and adherence to hotel procedures and standards
• Oversee the proper handling storage organization and control of housekeeping supplies amenities linens uniforms and equipment
• Monitor inventory levels conduct monthly stocktaking and assist with purchasing requirements to optimize resource utilization
• Address guest requests and complaints with empathy and professionalism ensuring appropriate follow-up and resolution
• Ensure strict compliance with hotel policies health and safety procedures hygiene standards and fire and emergency protocols
• Coordinate with the Engineering Department regarding room defects maintenance issues and preventive maintenance scheduling
• Support budget management and cost control initiatives while promoting efficient use of departmental resources
• Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives to maintain and elevate departmental standards
• Assume full responsibility for the Housekeeping Department operations during the absence of the Executive Housekeeper
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management to support organizational goals

Qualifications :

• Diploma or Bachelors degree in Hotel Management Hospitality or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on housekeeping experience in a hotel environment with preferably supervisory or leadership experience
• Comprehensive knowledge of hotel housekeeping operations cleaning procedures linen management and inventory control systems
• Strong leadership communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members
• Excellent organizational and time management abilities with proven capacity to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Demonstrated problem-solving and conflict resolution skills with a customer-focused mindset
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and familiarity with hotel property management systems
• Strong attention to detail and unwavering commitment to cleanliness hygiene and service quality standards
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining composure and resilience in fast-paced environments
• Good command of English; additional languages are advantageous
• Physical stamina and capability to work in various environments including standing for extended periods
• Understanding of budget awareness and cost control principles in hospitality operations
• Flexible approach to work schedules and willingness to adapt to operational needs
