Are you looking for a new interesting and challenging opportunity in a dynamic and changing IT support environment Itron is looking for a trainee who have knowledge in SQL DBA to be part of our growing IT centre in Bangalore India. You will be part of our global IT organization and will be joining a global leading technology remote support team responsible for leading and mentoring a team of energetic IT infrastructure analysts resolving complex issues every day for internal customers. Itron IT provides support for all internal IT systems and applications issues in Itron. IT Operations team is responsible for providing remote support including end-user support business systems (e.g. Oracle EBS Oracle cloud etc) Collaboration tools and systems networking and systems management among many other technical services. The support provided by this team will have a global reach and support all Itron thousands of employees. Qualification / Skills Requirements:

Skill Sets:

• Good Knowledge on Oracle SQL/ PLSQL
• Basic understanding of Oracle E-Business suite architecture.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to directly work with oracle end users / customers.
• Certifications on SQL/ Oracle EBS / Cloud/ITIL will be an added advantage.
• Assists the Help Desk Team to deliver technology support.
• Assist with the deployment of new equipment.
• Assist with software installs. Assist in collecting information for the equipment inventory.
• Should be ready to WFO in shifts on 27/7 support model. (Work from Office)

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to providing excellence in customer service support diagnosis replication resolving technical issues of simple complex and critical service requests at enterprise Infrastructure Landscape. The focus of this position is to provide Customer Service on Infrastructure space and to ultimately drive complete and total resolution of each issue reported by Itron employees and users of Oracle EBS.

• Responding to functional assistance incidents from the business users problem analysis and change implementation.
• Provide timely and effective reporting/updates on status of work being done for Incidents Service Requests and change implementation.
• Troubleshoot the issues on Oracle Support site and if required open SR with Oracle for critical issues.
• Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
• Flexible to take up shifts in other time zones.
• Identify and diagnose issues and problems.
• Categorize and record reported queries and provide solutions.
• Support problem identification
• Advise users on appropriate course of action.
• Monitor issues from start to resolution.
• Escalate if needed unresolved problems to a higher level of support
• Provide essential online security advice and support.
• Acting as a point of contact to support service users and customers reporting issues requesting information access or other services.
• Delivering customer service through multiple channels including human digital self-service and automated.
• Receives and handles requests for service following agreed procedures.
• Promptly allocates calls as appropriate.
• Logs incidents service requests problem change and maintains relevant records:

Education: BE BTech MCA or equivalent from recognized University. Other qualifications with adequate experience may be considered.
