Technical Project Manager

WHAT YOU WILL DO

360F delivers complex mission-critical technology transformations for insurers and financial institutions platform implementations AI-driven product builds and integrations into decades-old core systems. The Technical Project Manager is the person who makes those programmes land: on scope on time and without surprises the client didnt sign up for.

This is a role for a seasoned delivery leader who has run real technology projects in demanding environments not a coordinator who forwards status updates. You will own the plan control the delivery manage the stakeholders on both sides and see risk before it becomes a problem.

You will sit between 360Fs engineering and solutions teams and our clients programme offices translating between them holding the line on commitments and steering delivery through the ambiguity and change that large financial-services programmes inevitably bring.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Planning & Control

• Own the end-to-end delivery plan for technology programmes scope schedule dependencies milestones and resourcing.
• Establish and run the project controls: baselines change control status reporting and governance cadences that give both 360F and the client a single source of truth.
• Track progress against plan rigorously surfacing variance early and driving corrective action rather than narrating slippage after the fact.

Stakeholder Management

• Manage stakeholders across the client organisation programme offices IT business and vendors aligning expectations and keeping decisions moving.
• Coordinate internal 360F teams engineering solutions product and commercial into a coherent delivery front.
• Communicate clearly and credibly at every level from engineers in stand-ups to steering committees and sponsors.

Risk & Issue Mitigation

• Own the risk and issue framework: identification assessment mitigation planning and escalation with a bias toward pre-empting rather than reacting.
• Anticipate the failure modes specific to financial-services delivery integration data quality regulatory sign-off and dependency on legacy systems.
• Drive issue resolution to closure keeping accountability clear and momentum intact under pressure.

Delivery Governance

• Manage scope and change disciplined against the commercial agreement protecting both delivery integrity and account value.
• Maintain delivery documentation RAID logs and reporting to a standard that survives audit and client scrutiny.
• Ensure quality gates testing and acceptance criteria are met before anything is called done.

Team & Cross-Functional Leadership

• Lead delivery teams without necessarily owning them on the org chart through clarity credibility and momentum.
• Partner with commercial and solutions leads to keep delivery aligned to the contract and the client relationship.
• Set a delivery culture grounded in rigor honesty and follow-through.

REQUIREMENTS

• 1220 years of experience managing technology projects and programmes ideally within financial services insurance or enterprise software.
• A proven track record delivering complex multi-stakeholder technology projects end to end platform implementations integrations or product builds.
• Deep command of project planning and control scheduling dependency management baselining change control and status reporting.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across technical and business audiences up to and including steering-committee and sponsor level.
• Demonstrated risk-management discipline you identify quantify and mitigate risk proactively and have the judgment to know which risks matter.
• Comfort operating in regulated environments and navigating client governance security and compliance requirements.
• Fluency across delivery methodologies Agile waterfall and hybrid with the pragmatism to apply what the programme actually needs.
• Enough technical literacy to challenge estimates understand architecture and integration risk and earn the respect of engineering teams.
• Relevant certification (PMP PRINCE2 or equivalent) is valued though track record matters more someone clients trust to tell them the truth and hold delivery together.
