Role Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture design and development of cloud-native 5G Packet Core network functions.
• Drive end-to-end software development using microservices architecture and modern software engineering practices.
• Lead technical discussions design reviews code reviews and architecture decisions.
• Collaborate with system architects product management QA DevOps and integration teams to deliver high-quality releases.
• Design highly scalable resilient and fault-tolerant distributed systems.
• Optimize packet processing performance latency and resource utilization.
• Ensure compliance with 3GPP standards and interoperability requirements.
• Drive CI/CD adoption automated testing and DevSecOps practices.
• Participate in customer issue analysis performance optimization and production support.
• Own feature delivery technical planning effort estimation and release execution.

Job Requirements

Required Technical Skills

• 5G Packet Core
  • Strong understanding of 5G Core architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more core network functions such as:
  • Good understanding of Service-Based Architecture (SBA).
  • Strong knowledge of 3GPP specifications and interfaces.
  • Experience with HTTP/2 REST APIs TLS Diameter and SCTP.
  • Knowledge of QoS mobility management session management charging and policy control.

• Software Development
  • Strong proficiency in C Go and Python.
  • Expertise in microservices architecture and distributed systems.
  • Experience developing REST/gRPC APIs.
  • Strong object-oriented design and design patterns.
  • Multithreading asynchronous programming concurrency and performance optimization.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Linux systems programming.
  • Networking fundamentals including TCP/IP UDP IPv4/IPv6 and packet processing.
  • Strong experience in cloud-native and microservices-based application development.
  • Experience working with Kubernetes-based deployments in production environments.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors or masters degree in computer science Electronics Telecommunications or related field.
• 8 years of software development experience.
• 5 years of experience in 4G/5G Packet Core development.
