Role Description:

We are looking for a SW QA Engineer

You will report to the Director of System Integration & QA Broadband business unit.

Location:

Hybrid role working at least 3 days a week from our office in Bangalore.

What you will be doing:

• Test multidisciplinary Embedded Systems (SW/HW).

• Responsibility for features testing starting from integration till end-to-end functional testing.

• Define clear test plans that cover all use cases and scenarios.

• Execute testing to verify functional behavior of the products and to ensure their quality in an Agile environment.

• Work in scrum team in agile mode.

• Execute automatic tests using existing framework and analyze the results.

• Provide requirements for automatic tests.

What you will need to succeed:

• 2-3 years of experience in manual testing of an Embedded System (HW/SW)

• Experience in QA methodologies

• Linux knowledge

• . in Computer Science or a similar field or an equivalent experience

• Networking knowledge (Layer 3)- advantage

• Knowledge of RF testing equipment traffic generators network sniffer - advantage

• Python or other scripting knowledge experience in test scripts execution advantage

• DOCSIS / PON (Passive Optical Network) knowledge- advantage

• Agile working methods advantage
