Job Description Calibration & Configuration Analyst (Junior Engineer 35 Years Experience)
About the Role
We are seeking a Calibration & Configuration Analyst with 35 years of experience to work on BMW-specific tools including CRETA. This role focuses on executing configuration calibration and data comparison activities using specialized tools. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented process-driven and capable of handling time-sensitive tasks with high accuracy and consistency.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform configuration and calibration activities using CRETA and other BMW tools.
- Execute daily data comparison and validation tasks through predefined tool workflows.
- Ensure accuracy consistency and compliance in configuration and calibration processes.
- Generate and maintain regular reports and dashboards using MS Excel.
- Support user-level validation and testing of tools and configurations.
- Analyze and resolve discrepancies identified during comparison activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution of operational tasks.
- Maintain documentation and track configuration-related activities.
Required Skills
- 35 years of experience in configuration calibration validation or similar operational roles.
- Hands-on experience working with engineering configuration or data processing tools.
- Strong proficiency in MS Excel (formulas data analysis reporting).
- Basic knowledge of Python for data-related activities and automation support.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality.
- Ability to manage routine time-sensitive tasks effectively.
- Good communication coordination and problem-solving skills.
Good to Have
- Exposure to the automotive domain preferably OEM or supplier environments.
- Experience with CRETA or similar calibration/configuration tools.
- Basic understanding of data handling validation and analysis processes.
- Familiarity with configuration management and quality assurance practices.
Preferred Candidate Profile
- Bachelors degree in Engineering Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- Self-motivated process-oriented and able to work effectively within defined workflows.
- Comfortable working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
