Support Engineer User Access Management (UAM)
Job Summary
We are looking for a Software Engineer User Access Management (UAM) to support and enhance access governance identity lifecycle management and access provisioning processes. The ideal candidate will have experience working with GitHub-based workflows repository management configuration-driven development and cloud-based environments. The role involves collaborating with security infrastructure and application teams to ensure secure compliant and efficient user access management across enterprise systems.
This position requires a strong support-oriented mindset excellent communication skills and the ability to work with configuration files access policies and automation workflows while adhering to security and governance standards.
- Support User Access Management (UAM) processes including access provisioning modification and de-provisioning activities.
- Manage and maintain configuration repositories using Git and GitHub.
- Create review and manage Pull Requests (PRs) for access-related configurations and policy updates.
- Work with YAML files schemas and configuration artifacts used in access management workflows.
- Validate configurations using linters and governance standards before deployment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve access-related issues in accordance with established SLAs.
- Support audit compliance and security review activities by maintaining accurate access records and documentation.
- Participate in change management processes and ensure adherence to security best practices.
- Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives within the UAM ecosystem.
- Prepare operational documentation knowledge articles and user guides.
- Support as per EU(German) timings and flexibility for 24/7 ops support.
- Strong understanding of Git fundamentals including branching merging and Pull Request management.
- Hands-on experience with GitHub repositories and collaboration workflows.
- Basic coding knowledge with experience in:
- YAML files
- Schemas
- Linters and validation tools
- Understanding of configuration-driven deployments and repository management.
- Familiarity with identity and access management concepts such as:
- User provisioning and de-provisioning
- Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)
- Access governance and compliance
- Access approval workflows
- Basic knowledge of AWS services and cloud concepts.
- Understanding of security and access management practices within cloud environments.
