Job Summary
Location: Bengaluru
Akasa Air is looking for qualified and motivated Aircraft Maintenance Engineers to join our Engineering team as Structure AMEon the Boeing 737 MAX fleet.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform structural inspections repairs and damage assessments on aircraft structures.
- Accomplish repairs in accordance with approved data SRM AMM engineering orders and OEM instructions.
- Carry out and certify structural inspection and repair activities
- Coordinate with Technical Services Compliance Monitoring and OEM for structural defect rectification.
- Review corrosion findings dent/buckle damages and repair schemes.
- Ensure all maintenance activities are performed in compliance with DGCA regulations and company procedures.
- Support maintenance activities at base and line stations as required.
Eligibility Criteria
- Hold a valid Structure Authorization on a modern transport aircraft.
- Hold a CAR-66 Licence in Category B1 OR
- Hold an AME Diploma and have successfully completed all applicable CAR-66 B1.1 modules
- Have completed OEM-approved structural training or equivalent approved training.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant structural maintenance experience.
Preferred Experience
- Boeing 737 NG/MAX structural maintenance experience.
- Structural inspections blend repairs sheet metal repairs corrosion control and damage assessment.
- Experience working with SRM AMM IPC and engineering repair documents.
