We are seeking an experienced Estimator to join our dedicated team in the Steel department.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare and/or assist in completing budgetary and final estimating of scopes of work
• Apply technical knowledge to support efficient estimating and cost-effective solutions
• Responsible for detailed cost estimates and qualification development for bid proposals
• Perform detailed structural and miscellaneous take-offs
• Collaborate with contractors engineers and architects during estimate creation to ensure overall accuracy
• Assist with Project Controls (Schedule/Cost control)

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 Years experience specifically in estimating steel detailing projects
• Must be proficient with MS Office Suite (especially Excel) Bluebeam and Tekla Structures
• Work experience in tilt-up panel manufacturing facilities and schools is an asset but not required
• Must have experience in reading US design drawings
• Strong interpersonal written and verbal communication skills are required
• Critical thinking analytical and organizational skills
