Java Backend Developer and Support

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Java Backend Developer to support and enhance enterprise Warranty Applications. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java-based web application development using JSP Servlets and Struts framework along with experience in application support troubleshooting maintenance and enhancement of critical business systems.

The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders QA teams support teams and architects to deliver reliable and scalable solutions supporting warranty and after-market business processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop maintain and enhance enterprise Warranty Applications using Java technologies.
• Analyse business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop backend components using Core Java JSP Servlets and Struts framework.
• Support production applications and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for recurring issues.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with QA teams during testing cycles and support defect resolution.
• Work closely with business users during requirement gathering UAT and production deployments.
• Prepare technical documentation design documents and support knowledge articles.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning daily stand-ups retrospectives and backlog grooming.
• Ensure compliance with security audit and change management processes.
• Support application modernization and migration initiatives as required.
