Sr. Program Manager, Verification Services

The Verification Services team ensures that Amazon is a safe and trustworthy place to shop and an amazing place to build a successful business selling products. We support this mission through providing a secure and accurate verification platform. Verification is a critical component to protect our customers from bad actors and provide fast and secure registration and account management capabilities. We provide an end to end solution for identity verification and account lifecycle management for various Amazon businesses across globe (North America Europe Japan China and more). Our customers include Mechanical Turk Selling on Amazon Amazon Pay Amazon Flex etc. We continuously strive to scale our systems to serve millions of Amazon customers with high accuracy least friction in a highly secure manner to enable a safe and secure shopping experience for customers.

We are looking for a Senior Program Manager to lead large cross functional programs and focus on owing the delivery of the new product launches compliance intiatives and new marketplace launches. This person will be responsible for optimizing the delivery of a launch by working closely with product and engineering. This role requires an extensive co-ordination with varied set of stakeholders from Science Operations Compliance and Legal. The role requires someone who can manage multiple tasks/priorities consistently meet deadlines is a creative problem solver and a critical thinker coupled with cross-functional communication addition we are looking for someone who has a blend of program/project management experience added with experience in tech acumen to scale our tech service offerings.

Key job responsibilities
- Lead the planning execution and delivery of business-critical/high impacting projects on the teams roadmap and ensure they are delivered with high quality and within budget.
- Work with leadership team to drive critical business initiatives across the organization
- Develop implement and govern KPIs reporting for the portfolio providing visibility to the milestones and performance across all projects
- Drive and influence stakeholders across product engineering business and Ops teams on improvement opportunities
- Establish and continually improve the consistency predictability and efficiency of the project delivery by leading and implementing best practices across the team
- Communicate across all levels on project and program progress
- Coach mentor and guide new team members

- 5 years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 5 years of program or project management experience
- 5 years of delivering cross functional projects experience
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Hands on experience at program managing an AI solution

- 2 years of driving process improvements experience
- Masters degree or MBA in business operations human resources adult education organizational development instructional design or related field
