Sr. Engineer, Compliance
Job Summary
The Compliance Engineer will drive hardware compliance readiness by owning documentation regulatory processes certification coordination and stakeholder engagement. The role bridges technical lab activities and compliance execution to ensure boards meet global regulatory standards.
Core Responsibilities
- Define and implement compliance processes for hardware boards across programs
- Own regulatory documentation including risk assessments DoC CE UKCA and RoHS artifacts
- Coordinate with internal engineers to collect technical inputs for compliance
- Engage with test labs and certification bodies for compliance validation
- Identify applicable standards and determine required tests for each board
- Track compliance readiness risks and documentation gaps
- Establish reusable templates and scalable compliance workflows
- Support vendor selection lab evaluation and cost discussions
Technical Skills:
- Expertise in compliance standards: CE UKCA RoHS DoC
- Must have knowledge of EMCD LVD directives of CE
- Must have Product Compliance Testing Experience
- Knowledge of board-level compliance and certification flow
- Experience with risk assessment and regulatory documentation
- Experience with test lab processes and validation requirements

Qualifications :
Experience Requirements:
- 610 years experience in hardware compliance or regulatory engineering
- Experience with product compliance for hardware boards or systems
- Exposure to external certification labs or compliance agencies
- Track record in managing compliance documentation and certification workflows
Education:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical/Electronics/Hardware Engineering
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in test labs or certification organizations
- Certifications in compliance or regulatory standards
- Exposure to global compliance frameworks and standards
- Experience in building compliance processes from scratch
