What awaits you/ Job Profile

What should you bring along

• Minimum 6 years of professional experience in automotive Design and Development and should have delivered at least 2 complete projects as / Lead Engineer / Sr. Design Engineer
• Excellent collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders to achieve set targets
• A proactive teamwork-oriented mindset with the ability to operate in a multicultural environment across different time zones.
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Industrial Design Transportation Design Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Strong expertise in Catia V5/V6 CAD design with a focus on structured and parametric modelling
• Development of parametrical CAD-models for later use in the concept development of BIW Upper body parts.
• Knowledge of common manufacturing methods Sheet Metal components
• Good communication and English language skills (German language is an advantage)

Must have technical skill

• Very good skills in CATIA V5 especially in Generative Shape Design Part Design Drafting and Digital Mock-up
• Familiarity with different manufacturing technologies for Sheet Metal Casting extrusion & Plastic components
• Understanding of Part fixation and assembly processes
• Proficient in creating CAD models in a structured way

Good to have Technical skills

• Good communication and English language skills (German language is an advantage)
• Experience with collision checks and integration of special characteristics General tolerances & Stack tolerance
• Experience participating in integration meetings and interface coordination
