In this role you will bridge the gap between complex enterprise data warehouses and intuitive business reporting. You will lead the design development and optimization of live interactive workbooks input tables and custom analytics workflows in Sigma directly powered by underlying Snowflake architecture. Job Specification / Skills and Competencies Build optimize and maintain complex highly interactive Sigma workbooks reports and dashboards using Sigmas spreadsheet-like interface. Implement and manage semantic layers control calculations and build user-friendly data models directly over Snowflake tables and views. Design and deploy operational workflows using Sigma Input Tables to enable safe data write-backs directly into Snowflake. Leverage advanced Sigma capabilities including parameterization dynamic filtering paginated reporting and integration with Snowflake Cortex AI / semantic views. Establish Sigma development standards governance policies and train non-technical stakeholders on self-service analytics. Write optimize and tune complex SQL queries natively executed via push-down compute inside Snowflake. Collaborate with data platform teams to optimize Snowflake schemas views and materializations specifically tailored for high-performance Sigma reporting. Ensure seamless security integration by aligning Sigma access with Snowflake Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) row-level security (RLS) and OAuth definitions. 8 years of experience in data engineering business intelligence or enterprise data warehousing. Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience building architecting and optimizing analytics solutions inSigma Computing. 3 years of working experience withSnowflake including: Writing advanced SQL Understanding compute/warehouse sizing Performance tuning Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) Snowflake object structure Deep understanding of relational database concepts star schema/snowflake schema design and analytical data modelling. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills for collaborating across onsite and offshore teams gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
