Solution Architect SAP

The SAP Solution Architect plays a critical role in shaping Convatecs global Supply Chain Finance and Procurement technology ecosystem across SAP platforms ECC/S4HANA and related modules & linked applications. The role is responsible for designing scalable secure and future-ready architectures that enable Supply Chain Finance and Procurement business processes.

The SAP Solution Architect operates as a senior solution architect in SAP ecosystem and products partnering closely with business stakeholders across Supply Chain Finance Procurement HR IT and external technology partners.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end solution architecture for SAP platforms including ECC S/4HANA IBP MDG TM Datasphere and SAC ensuring seamless integration with Convatecs enterprise systems.

• Design scalable API-led architectures leveraging SAP BTP REST OData middleware and event-driven patterns to enable interoperability across global systems.

• Produce high-quality architectural documentation (HLA HLD) and enforce adherence to enterprise architecture standards throughout project delivery.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders product owners engineering leads and vendors to define the architectural runway for SAP programs and related initiatives.

• Assess existing solutions to identify gaps in scalability security performance and compliance; propose future-state architectures aligned with Convatecs strategic objectives.

• Govern SAP platforms and integrations with systems such as TrackWise MES LIMS LAM CRM ServiceNow analytics platforms and third-party solutions.

• Ensure robust integration patterns between SAP and external logistics financial platforms and enterprise systems.

• Support RFP processes vendor selection and TCO analysis for SAP-related technologies and services.

• Advocate privacy-by-design security-by-design and AI-by-design principles within SAP architecture and related processes.

• Drive SAP-related components of global digital and supply chain transformation programs ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards.

• Act as Technical Design Authority (TDA) for SAP solutions across projects providing architectural guidance to delivery teams.

• Develop future-state models and roadmaps for Convatecs SAP ecosystem fostering continuous improvement and innovation

Note: Position will be based in Hyderabad.

Skills & Experience

• Min 5 years experience in related field; experience in similar industry will be highly preferred

• Strong background insolution architectureacrossSupply Chain Finance and Procurement technologies

• Deep expertise asSAP Solution Architectwith hands-on experience inECC/S/4HANAand related modules (TM FI/CO MM SD) as well asSAP IBP Datasphere SAC MDG SAP CALM Signavio and BTP

• Strong understanding ofintegration patternsand proficiency inSAP integration technologies(SAP Integration Suite Cloud Integration API Management Open Connectors Integration Advisor and Advanced Event Mesh)

• Proven ability to createHigh-Level Architecture (HLA)andHigh-Level Design (HLD)documentation to an exceptional standard operating independently and proactively

• Experience withenterprise cloud platformssuch asMicrosoft Azure (preferred)andAWS

Technical competencies

• Architecture modelingusing frameworks such asC4 ArchiMate or equivalent

• Solid understanding ofDevOps practicesCI/CD pipelinescloud hosting models andcontainerization technologies

• Familiarity withenterprise data governanceprivacysecurity controls andcompliance frameworks
