Role Summary
Applies advanced subject matter expertise to design develop and position technology solutions that address customer business and technical requirements. Works independently on opportunities of varying complexity partnering with Sales Delivery and cross-functional teams to deliver commercially viable and customer-focused solutions.
- Partner with Sales teams to understand customer business objectives technical requirements and strategic priorities.
- Assess customer needs and align them with HP solutions and services.
- Analyze competitive positioning customer budgets and commercial requirements to support winning deal strategies.
- Design scalable cost-effective solutions that meet customer business and technical requirements.
- Validate solution architectures services and products while considering growth risk and operational feasibility.
- Define solution assumptions dependencies risks and mitigation plans.
- Collaborate with technical delivery and business stakeholders to ensure successful solution development and implementation.
- Support customer engagements workshops proposals and executive presentations throughout the sales lifecycle.
- Act as a trusted advisor to Sales and Account teams providing solution expertise and industry insights.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams and facilitate smooth transition from sales to delivery through effective handovers and knowledge transfer.
- Develop competitive pricing models aligned with financial and delivery objectives.
- Work with Delivery Operations and Finance teams to validate costs margins and solution assumptions.
- Support proposal development internal approvals and governance processes.
- Clearly articulate solution value business benefits and customer outcomes.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering IT Business or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10 years of experience in solution consulting solution architecture pre-sales or technical sales.
- Experience in Managed Services Digital Workplace Infrastructure Cloud or related technology domains.
- Project/program management experience and relevant certifications are advantageous.
- Strong understanding of IT services outsourcing managed services and enterprise solutions.
- Ability to translate customer requirements into business-focused technology solutions.
- Strong commercial acumen including pricing financial analysis and value-based solution positioning.
- Excellent stakeholder management communication presentation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to influence and collaborate effectively across technical business and executive audiences.
- Demonstrates a commitment to continuous learning industry awareness and professional growth.
- Completes required training and maintains up-to-date knowledge of technology trends and HP offerings.
