FCSD provides comprehensive diagnostics repair and service capabilities for electrified hybrid and internal combustion vehicles worldwide.
As a Software Engineer you will contribute to the design development deployment and support of cloud-based applications that enable critical customer and dealer experiences. You will work closely with product managers architects designers and engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions that create business value and drive innovation.
Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain applications using Java React and GCP.
- Build and enhance RESTful APIs and web-based applications.
- Translate business requirements into technical solutions and detailed specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on integrations testing deployments and production support.
- Participate in code reviews technical discussions and solution design activities.
- Ensure software quality through testing and engineering best practices.
- Troubleshoot application issues and continuously improve performance reliability and scalability.
- Support Agile delivery practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the successful delivery of business-critical software solutions.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Technology or a related field or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java.
- Strong hands-on experience with React.
- Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Experience developing web applications and RESTful APIs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
- Good communication skills with the ability to effectively engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively across teams.
- Experience working across the software development lifecycle.
- Passion for continuous learning and adopting new technologies.
