About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Infotainment Test Engineer with strong Python programming skills to join our Automotive Software Engineering team. The candidate will be responsible for validating next-generation automotive infotainment systems designing automated test frameworks executing functional and integration testing and ensuring high-quality software delivery for automotive products.

What You Will Do

• Design develop and execute test cases for automotive infotainment systems.
• Develop and maintain test automation frameworks using Python.
• Perform functional integration regression system and end-to-end testing.
• Validate multimedia connectivity navigation HMI Bluetooth Wi-Fi Android Auto and Apple CarPlay features.
• Analyze software requirements and create comprehensive test plans and test strategies.
• Debug issues perform root cause analysis and work closely with development teams for resolution.
• Execute test campaigns on actual hardware platforms and simulators.
• Track report and manage defects using defect management tools.
• Participate in Agile development processes sprint planning reviews and retrospectives.
• Generate test reports quality metrics and release sign-off documentation.

What You Need to Be Successful

• 3 to 6 years of experience in Automotive Infotainment Testing.
• Strong programming and scripting experience in Python.
• Good understanding of test automation frameworks and test methodologies.
• Hands-on experience in validating infotainment features such as Media Connectivity Navigation Bluetooth Android Auto Apple CarPlay Voice and HMI.
• Experience with automotive communication protocols such as CAN LIN or Ethernet.
• Knowledge of Linux and Android-based infotainment platforms.
• Experience using test management and defect tracking tools such as JIRA ALM or Azure DevOps.
• Strong debugging analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Bonus Points If You Have

• Experience with Robot Framework PyTest or other Python-based automation frameworks.
• Exposure to Automotive SPICE (ASPICE) processes.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation integration.
• Experience with CANoe CANalyzer or Vector tools.
• Understanding of embedded systems and automotive software architecture.
• Exposure to cloud-connected vehicle services and OTA testing.
• Knowledge of ISO 26262 and automotive cybersecurity concepts.

What Makes You Eligible

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Electronics Electrical Engineering Instrumentation or related field.
• 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in Automotive Infotainment Testing.
• Proven experience in Python-based test automation.
• Strong understanding of automotive software quality processes and testing lifecycle.
• Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional and global engineering environment.
