Were looking for a Software Engineer II who takes ownership of complex problems designs robust systems and delivers high-quality solutions that directly impact millions of tax calculations.
What You Will Do
- Design & Delivery: Translate business and tax requirements into software designs. Own well-defined features from design through production and understand their impact on customers.
- System Design: Build reliable components of tax systems and partner with senior engineers on broader architectural decisions.
- Tax & Compliance: Build and maintain systems where accuracy and regulatory compliance matter.
- Collaboration: Work with product managers engineers and cross-functional partners to clarify requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business needs.
- Engineering Quality: Write maintainable code and tests review code and document designs and test plans.
- Operations: Investigate issues improve reliability and help keep tax and compliance systems running smoothly.
- Continuous Learning: Stay current with relevant engineering practices and changes in the tax and compliance domain.
What You Will Have
- 3 years of professional software development experience.
- Proficiency in Python and experience with Django or a similar framework.
- Experience designing and building scalable systems or SaaS applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to deliver in a fast-paced environment.
- Clear communication and the ability to work effectively across teams.
