Summary:
As a Data Platform Engineer a typical day involves contributing to the development and refinement of the data platform blueprint and design ensuring that all relevant components are effectively incorporated. This role requires close collaboration with Integration Architects and Data Architects to maintain seamless integration between various systems and data models. The position demands continuous engagement with multiple stakeholders to align platform capabilities with organizational needs fostering a cohesive and efficient data environment that supports business objectives.

- Expected to be an SME collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to optimize data platform performance and scalability.
- Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship within the team to support professional growth.
- Coordinate cross-functional initiatives to ensure alignment of data strategies across departments.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- Strong expertise in data modeling and database design principles related to cloud data platforms.
- Experience in managing and optimizing data storage retrieval and processing within Snowflake environments.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with architects and engineering teams to implement integrated data solutions.
- Familiarity with data security best practices and compliance requirements in cloud data platforms.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving complex data platform issues to maintain system reliability.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in Snowflake Data Warehouse.
- This position is based at our Kolkata office.
