Service Engineer – Mobility

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for hands-on Service Engineers for our Authorised Service Centres (Mobility Division). The selected candidates will be responsible for diagnosis repair and servicing of mobility devices and accessories ensuring repairs are completed to Company quality standards and within defined TAT.

Job Description:
Diagnose and repair smartphones and tablets hardware and software faults including display battery motherboard camera charging port and OS issues
Perform repairs as per standard repair procedures and quality guidelines
Handle job cards accurately logging complaints parts used repair status and closure on the service management system
Manage spare parts inventory at bench level correct parts usage zero wastage proper documentation
Achieve daily repair targets and maintain TAT as defined by Company
Ensure customer devices are handled with care and returned in clean tested condition
Coordinate with front desk for job updates customer communication and escalations
Comply with Co. certification requirements and attend training programmes as required
Maintain tools equipment and workstation hygiene as per ESD and safety standards

ITI / Diploma in Electronics Electrical or related field or equivalent hands-on experience
Minimum 2-3 year of experience in mobile phone repair (Samsung experience preferred)
Working knowledge of hardware repair display replacement motherboard-level diagnosis soldering
Familiarity with service tools (e.g. Samsung SSD Smart Tutor) is an advantage
Basic computer literacy for job card entry and reporting
Candidates from Chandigarh / Tricity preferred
