Senior Software Test Engineer

Purpose of this position / Position summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Test Engineer to join our Quality Assurance team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in both Manual and Automation Testing a strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and hands-on expertise with modern automation tools and frameworks. Experience in the healthcare domain and Windows application testing is highly preferred.

Primary duties and responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Design develop execute and maintain manual and automated test cases for web API and Windows-based applications.
• Participate in all phases of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) including requirements analysis test planning test design execution defect tracking and reporting
• Develop and enhance automation frameworks using C# Selenium and Playwright
• Usage of GiThub copilot in prompt engineering
• Execute functional regression integration system and user acceptance testing.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare industry standards regulations and quality requirements.
• Participate in agile ceremonies and work effectively within co-located and cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on experience with C# Selenium Playwright and API Testing

Agile Delivery & Collaboration

• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups sprint planning reviews and retrospectives).
• Estimate work items manage technical debt and deliver features on time.

Generative & Agentic AI Prompt Engineering (Desirable)

• Use Generative AI tools for code scaffolding refactoring test generation and documentation to improve productivity and quality.
• Apply basic prompt engineering techniques to obtain reliable and secure outputs from AI tools.
• Experience with Agentic AI concepts where applicable (e.g. automating repetitive coding/testing tasks) under guidance from architects or technical leads where needed.

Education

• Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field.

Experience

• 6 years of professional software Test experience with significant exposure to C# Selenium and Playwright
