Mission of the Role:
To develop and enhance mission-critical C software components within the SDV ecosystem by ensuring performance safety maintainability and alignment with long-term platform strategy.
Job Description:
The Senior C Engineer - SDV will develop and maintain core SDV software components contributing to scalable and robust vehicle software platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop high-performance C components for SDV platforms
- Work on OTA/FOTA enablement middleware and system services
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams for integration and deployment
- Debug complex issues across Linux-based embedded systems
- Write clean testable and maintainable code
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degreein relevant engineering fields (e.g. Electronics Mechatronics Robotics Computer Science) with 6 years of professional experience.
- Strong proficiency in C (C11/14/17)
- Experience with Linux system programming
- Knowledge of communication protocols:CANJ1939Ethernet
- Proficiency in debugging (using GDB) and performance optimization of embedded Linuxbased distributed systems
- Working knowledge of Python for scripting and automation
- Familiarity with Docker and containerized environments
- Understanding of SDV and automotive software concepts is a plus
Nice to Have:
- AUTOSAR Adaptive SOME/IP DDS
- Automotive Ethernet
- Working knowledge of automotive diagnostic protocols (UDS DoIP SOVD) optionally with practical exposure
- Exposure to Functional Safety (e.g. ISO 26262) and Cybersecurity practices (e.g. ISO/SAE 21434 CRA)
