GENERAL PURPOSE

As Senior Software Engineer Salesforce Technology youll play a vital role at MillerKnoll. We are looking for an experienced Senior Salesforce Developer with 8 years of hands-on Salesforce development experience to design develop and implement scalable Salesforce solutions. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Sales Cloud Service Cloud Experience Cloud Lightning Web Components (LWC) Apex integrations and platform customizations. The candidate should have experience delivering end-to-end Salesforce implementations while collaborating with business stakeholders architects and cross-functional teams to build secure scalable and high-performing solutions.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Design develop and implement scalable Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
Develop custom solutions using Apex Lightning Web Components (LWC) Visualforce SOQL SOSL and Salesforce APIs.
Configure Salesforce using declarative capabilities including Flows Approval Processes Validation Rules Assignment Rules Case Management Entitlements and Omnichannel.
Build and maintain integrations with internal and external systems using REST/SOAP APIs Platform Events Named Credentials and middleware platforms.
Lead technical solution design customization and implementation activities while adhering to Salesforce best practices and governor limits.
Collaborate with business analysts product owners architects and QA teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Perform code reviews mentor junior developers and promote engineering best practices.
Optimize application performance troubleshoot production issues and implement scalable solutions.
Participate in release planning CI/CD deployments and DevOps processes.
Create and maintain technical design documentation and implementation artifacts.
Stay updated with Salesforce platform releases new features and emerging technologies including Salesforce AI capabilities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required:
Bachelors degree in computer science or related field.
10 years of enterprise-level software development experience.
8 years of Salesforce development experience with multiple Salesforce implementation projects.
Strong hands-on experience with Sales Cloud Service Cloud Experience Cloud
Expertise in Apex Lightning Web Components (LWC) Visualforce SOQL/SOSL Salesforce Security Model
Strong experience in Salesforce customizations and configuration.
Experience building integrations using REST APIs SOAP APIs Platform Events Named Credentials OAuth
Good understanding of Salesforce governor limits security sharing and performance optimization.
Experience with Git-based version control and CI/CD tools such as Copado.
Excellent analytical troubleshooting and communication skills.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with global teams.

Desirable:
Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I/II Salesforce Sales Cloud Consultant Salesforce Service Cloud Consultant Experience Cloud Consultant certification.
Experience with Salesforce AI Agentforce Einstein AI or Generative AI capabilities.
Experience with Salesforce B2B Commerce or Experience Sites.
Experience integrating Salesforce with ERP SAP Oracle or other enterprise applications.
Experience with JavaScript frameworks or modern web development practices.
Knowledge of event-driven architecture and asynchronous integrations.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.

This role will work in the shift timings of 12:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. or 2:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M. IST. The employees could be requested to work in a different shift on rare occasions to support the business during a critical issue or for any releases/migrations that maybe scheduled.

Location of work is Bangalore India. Initial 6 months until successful completion of probation period employees will work from office and then transition to hybrid working model.
