We are seeking a DevOps Engineer Azure Cloud & Software Release to drive the reliability scalability and operational excellence of Phenomenexs digital platforms.

This role is centered on cloud infrastructure software delivery and platform operations with responsibility for designing secure automated and scalable Azure-based environments that support enterprise applications and digital experiences. The role partners closely with frontend backend platform and enterprise teams to establish efficient deployment processes observability standards and infrastructure governance while maintaining ownership of DevOps practices and release management.

AI-enabled capabilities are viewed as a strategic enabler and future-facing competency complementingrather than definingthe core responsibilities of this role.

• Own and define the DevOps and cloud infrastructure strategy for enterprise-scale digital platforms on Microsoft Azure and lead CI/CD automation and deployment modernization initiatives.

• Design build and maintain secure scalable and highly available Azure environments using Infrastructure-as-Code practices ensuring platform reliability resilience and operational excellence.

• Establish and govern software release management processes deployment standards monitoring frameworks and operational best practices across development staging and production environments.

• Partner with engineering architecture and business teams to understand application integrations system communication patterns data flows and operational dependencies while maintaining architecture documentation technical diagrams and platform knowledge repositories.

• Bachelors degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field.

• 5 years of experience in DevOps Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) Cloud Operations Infrastructure Engineering or Production Engineering roles.

• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure Azure DevOps Git Azure CLI PowerShell scripting and CI/CD automation including experience implementing Infrastructure-as-Code solutions.

• Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture system integrations data flows database technologies (RDBMS) and troubleshooting across distributed systems and cloud environments.

• Demonstrated experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using tools such as Jira Confluence Azure DevOps MS Project and Miro along with strong technical documentation and diagramming skills.

• Experience with Kubernetes Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) Docker container orchestration and modern cloud-native architectures.

• Working knowledge of Python PowerShell or other scripting languages for automation monitoring and operational efficiency initiatives.

• Experience implementing observability solutions using Azure Monitor Application Insights Log Analytics Grafana or comparable monitoring platforms.

• Exposure to AI-enabled capabilities MLOps platform engineering or intelligent automation initiatives within enterprise environments.

• Experience supporting regulated industries such as life sciences diagnostics healthcare or other compliance-driven environments.
