Education Qualification: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field or higher with minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
Position Description: We are looking for an experienced COBOL SQL Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate should be passionate about coding and developing scalable and high-performance applications. You will work closely with our clients designers and other members of the team to deliver quality solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Responsibilities:
Design develop and maintain COBOL-based applications.
Develop and implement efficient algorithms.
Perform ETL activities using SQL queries
Install upgrade and test components
Ensure performance quality and responsiveness of applications.
Identify and troubleshoot software defects and issues.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define design and ship new features.
Participate in code reviews and ensure code quality and standards are met
Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in software development

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Must-Have Skills:
Strong proficiency in COBOL and SQL
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git
Experience with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices
Should be able to perform tasks like Designing developing deploying & testing.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
