Job Title: Senior Civil Engineer

Job Summary

The Senior Civil Engineer is responsible for leading the planning design and execution of civil engineering projects. This role involves technical leadership project management mentoring junior engineers and coordinating with clients contractors and regulatory authorities to ensure projects are delivered safely on time within budget and in compliance with applicable standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and analysis of civil engineering projects such as roads bridges buildings water systems and infrastructure works
• Review and approve engineering drawings calculations specifications and reports
• Manage project timelines budgets resources and risks
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and site staff
• Coordinate with architects surveyors contractors and other stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with local codes industry standards safety regulations and environmental requirements
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical or construction-related issues
• Prepare and review tender documents cost estimates and contract documents
• Liaise with clients and regulatory authorities to obtain approvals and permits
• Support continuous improvement in engineering practices and project delivery

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering (Masters degree preferred)
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent certification
• Minimum 812 years of relevant civil engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of civil design software (e.g. AutoCAD Civil 3D STAAD ETABS)
• Solid understanding of construction methods materials and project management principles
