Job Description (JD) for a Firewall Specialist:

Job Title: Firewall Specialist

Job Summary:

Were seeking an experienced Firewall Specialist to manage and maintain our network security infrastructure. The successful candidate will be responsible for configuring monitoring and troubleshooting firewalls to ensure network security and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design implement and manage firewall rules and policies.

2. Monitor firewall logs and analyze traffic patterns.

3. Troubleshoot Routing & Switching network connectivity issues.

4. Collaborate with teams to ensure security compliance.

5. Stay updated on emerging threats and technologies.

Skill Set:

1. Experience with firewall technologies (e.g. Palo-Alto Fortinet Check Point).

2. Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP DNS etc.).

3. Knowledge of security best practices and compliance regulations.

4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

5. Excellent Routing and Switching.

Preferrable:

1. Certifications (Palo-Alto FortiGate Checkpoint Firewalls)
