Senior Java Backend Developer

We are seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer with 7 years of experience to design develop and maintain high-performance server-side this role you will build scalable secure enterprise solutions and collaborate with design and product teams to power exceptional user experiences.

Job Summary

As a Senior Backend Developer you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into seamless functional software. You will lead the development of robust Java backend services optimize system performance and ensure smooth data exchange with frontend interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Backend Development: Design develop and maintain robust scalable server-side applications using Java and J2EE.

• API Implementation: Build and secure high-performance RESTful APIs to facilitate communication between front-end and back-end systems.

• System Optimization: Ensure the overall performance scalability and security of all server-side applications.

• Design Collaboration: Partner with UX/UI designers to provide strong backend support for complex frontend features.

• Requirements Translation: Collaborate with cross-functional product teams to understand refine and implement technical business requirements.

Technical Requirements

• Core Backend: Deep expertise in Java J2EE and the Spring Boot framework.

• Database Management: Proficiency in relational databases specifically Oracle Postgres or standard SQL.

• DevOps & Documentation: Mastery of version control tools (Git BitBucket) and API documentation frameworks like Swagger.

Qualifications & Competencies

• Experience: Minimum of 7 years of proven experience in backend software development.

• Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a closely related technical field.

• Principles: Deep understanding of core backend architecture and software development principles.

• Methodologies: Experience working within fast-paced Agile development environments.

• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills sharp attention to detail and strong collaborative communication.

Nice to Have Skills

• Cloud Platforms: Experience deploying and managing applications on AWS Azure or GCP.

• DevOps & Containers: Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.

• Architecture: Practical familiarity with building and maintaining Microservices architecture.

• Knowledge of Reaact.js will be added advantage.
