Senior Hardware Functional Safety Engineer – Braking Systems

Role Responsible for supporting hardware functional safety design and development for automotive braking systems in accordance with ISO 26262 including safety analysis requirements and hardware safety concept ResponsibilitiesSupport HW functional safety design and development as per ISO hardware safety analysis and support development of the Technical Safety Concept / Hardware Safety and maintain FMEA FMEDA FTA and DFA Pin Failure Analysis (PFA) and identify hardware failure modes and safety review and maintain hardware safety requirements and derivation and allocation of safety requirements from system level to single-point residual and latent faults and support achievement of required hardware safety with System Hardware Software Safety and Validation teams to resolve safety-related safety reviews assessments and ISO 26262 work products throughout the development SkillsStrong knowledge of ISO 26262 Functional Safety particularly hardware -on experience with FMEA FMEDA FTA DFA and Pin Failure understanding of hardware failure modes diagnostic coverage and safety in hardware safety requirements specification and of SPFM LFM PMHF and hardware architectural knowledge of automotive ECU hardware and electronics preferably braking/chassis with functional safety analysis tools is an & Education710 years of relevant experience in automotive hardware / functional degree in Electronics / Electrical / ECE or related in braking chassis vehicle dynamics or other safety-critical automotive ECUs is 26262 experience in production/development projects is highly desirable.
