Job Title : Senior Geospatial Analyst

Experience : 5 to 10 Years

Location : Bangalore

Roles & Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ESRI ArcGIS databases for offshore subsea operations capital projects subsurface wells and onshore facilities.
  
• Maintain the Subsea GIS web portal ensuring service availability troubleshooting and user support.
  
• Create maps dashboards and spatial data visualizations for business and operational needs.
  
• Develop geospatial applications and integrate GIS with enterprise systems and SaaS platforms.
  
• Manage ArcGIS databases and geospatial datasets on Microsoft Azure using tools such as FME and Databricks.
  
• Automate GIS workflows using Python API ArcGIS REST API and notebooks.
  
• Develop geospatial data pipelines and implement data quality schema management and version control.
  
• Collaborate with architects project teams and business stakeholders to improve GIS performance and deliver solutions.

Requisites

• Bachelors or Masters degree in GIS Geomatics Geography Surveying or a related field.
  
• Minimum 5 years of experience in GIS and web-based mapping preferably in the Oil & Gas industry.
  
• Strong hands-on experience with ESRI ArcGIS geospatial databases and web GIS applications.
  
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure FME and Databricks.
  
• Proficiency in Python SQL JavaScript or other data-focused programming technologies.
  
• Understanding of GIS data models spatial analysis data integration and data quality management.
  
• Knowledge of offshore survey data geodesy coordinate systems and projections is preferred.
  
• Strong communication stakeholder management and problem-solving skills.
  
• Experience with Agile project delivery and workflow tools such as Visio Miro or Slack is an advantage.
