Senior Engineer- Design & Development

We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Senior Engineer Design and Development to perform engineering activities related to product design and development ensuring products meet the MH standards customer specifications quality requirements and project timelines. The role requires technical expertise problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration to drive successful product delivery.

• Contribute to the development and evaluation of product design concepts.
• Create and maintain 3D models 2D drawings and technical design documentation.
• Participate in functional design reviews and support project maturity confirmations throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Manage product modifications and engineering changes in accordance with technical specifications and established processes.
• Responsible for creating test orders and generating test reports in coordination with the test lab.
• Responsible for preparing maintaining and updating the technical documentation for workflows.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution and product release.
• Support innovation initiatives including patent applications and protection of intellectual property rights.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of product data and documentation within the CDB & TnT database.

Qualifications & Experience:

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5 - 8 years of relevant work experience
• Experience in (automotive or similar) product Design & development processes.

Competencies:

• Proficiency inCAD tools is mainly in CATIA.
• Understanding offiltration technologies(air oil fuel cabin filters).
• Knowledge ofmaterials science especially polymers casting and composites.
• Familiarity withdesign for manufacturability (DFM)anddesign for assembly (DFA).
• Familiarity withAPQPPPAP andISO/TS 16949standards.
• Experience withinjection moldingpleatingultrasonic welding andassembly
• Exposure to3D printing/additive manufacturingfor prototyping
