Senior Embedded C++ Engineer for CACL

We are looking for a Senior Embedded C Engineer with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our automotive software team. The role involves developing reliable high-quality embedded software for vehicle systems and working closely with architects system engineers testers and other development teams.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in C embedded software design debugging testing and automotive development processes.

• Design develop integrate and maintain embedded software in C.

• Analyze requirements and convert them into robust software solutions.

• Debug and resolve complex software issues across multiple components.

• Develop unit integration and component tests.

• Participate in code reviews and technical design discussions.

• Ensure compliance with coding standards and quality guidelines.

• Investigate compiler static-analysis and integration issues.

• Support software releases and continuous-improvement activities.

• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team best practices.

• 8 to 12 years of experience in embedded software development.

• Strong programming skills in C and modern C.

• Good knowledge of object-oriented design and embedded systems.

• Experience with state machines asynchronous processing timers and callbacks.

• Experience in automotive ECU software development.

• Knowledge of AUTOSAR and automotive diagnostics.

• Experience with unit testing and debugging tools.

• Familiarity with Git and build systems such as Bazel or CMake.

• Knowledge of coding standards such as AUTOSAR C14 or MISRA.

• Experience with static-analysis tools such as Coverity or equivalent.

• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

• Experience with automotive communication protocols such as CAN or LIN.
• Knowledge of ISO 26262 and Automotive SPICE.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and Docker-based development environments.
• Experience mentoring engineers or taking ownership of software components.
  
  

Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering Electronics Embedded Systems or a related field.

• Independently own software features from analysis through delivery.

• Contribute to architecture and design decisions.

• Deliver maintainable testable and production-ready code.

• Support and guide other engineers in the team.
