Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in AWS Snowflake Python and Teradata to design develop and maintain scalable cloud-based data solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience building end-to-end data pipelines working with cloud landing zones developing Snowflake scripts and ensuring high-quality data through unit testing.
Key Responsibilities
Design and develop scalable data engineering solutions using AWS and Snowflake.
Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to ingest data from multiple source systems into Snowflake.
Develop and optimize Snowflake SQL scripts stored procedures and data transformations.
Work with AWS services such as S3 Glue Lambda IAM and CloudWatch for data ingestion and processing.
Extract transform and migrate data from Teradata and other enterprise data sources.
Design and manage cloud landing zones for efficient and secure data ingestion.
Develop Python-based automation and data processing scripts.
Perform unit testing data validation and troubleshoot data quality issues.
Optimize SQL queries and improve data pipeline performance.
Collaborate with architects business analysts and cross-functional teams to deliver robust data solutions.
Support production deployments monitor data pipelines and resolve production issues.
Mandatory Skills
8-10 years of experience in Data Engineering.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS Cloud.
Expertise in Snowflake and Snowflake Scripting.
Strong programming skills in Python.
Experience working with Teradata.
Excellent SQL and database development skills.
Experience designing and developing ETL/ELT pipelines.
Hands-on experience with cloud landing zones and data ingestion frameworks.
Experience in unit testing debugging and performance tuning.
Good understanding of data warehousing concepts and cloud-based architectures.
