Bristlecone India Limited is seeking a seasoned SAP ABAP professional to join its S4 HANA Technical Delivery team. The Senior Consultant will be responsible for endtoend ABAP development enhancements interface creation debugging and production support across multiple S/4HANA implementations. You will work closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions while ensuring high performance and code quality.

Bristlecone India Limited is seeking a seasoned SAP ABAP professional to join its S4 HANA Technical Delivery team. The Senior Consultant will be responsible for endtoend ABAP development enhancements interface creation debugging and production support across multiple S/4HANA implementations. You will work closely with functional consultants and business stakeholders to translate requirements into robust technical solutions while ensuring high performance and code quality.
Responsibilities
- Design develop and enhance ABAP objects (reports interfaces BAPIs enhancements forms) in S/4HANA.
- Perform code reviews and enforce SAP coding standards.
- Debug and resolve issues in development and production environments.
- Provide production support and conduct rootcause analysis.
- Collaborate with functional consultants to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Develop and maintain data migration and integration interfaces (IDocs RFC OData).
- Optimize performance of ABAP programs and conduct tuning activities.
- Lead technical design workshops and mentor junior developers.
- Participate in testing activities including unit integration and UAT.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and knowledge sharing within the team.
Qualifications
- 7 years of SAP ABAP experience preferably on S/4HANA.
- Strong expertise in ABAP OO BAPI BADI enhancements ALE/IDocs RFC and OData.
- Handson experience with SAP NetWeaver Eclipse ADT Web Dynpro; SAPUI5 knowledge is a plus.
- Proficiency in debugging performance tuning and production support.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration (Brownfield/Greenfield) projects.
- Good understanding of SAP modules (FI MM SD) and related business processes.
- Ability to work independently and in crossfunctional teams.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or equivalent.
- Willingness to travel onsite as required.
