SENIOR ANDROID CAMERA APPLICATION DEVELOPER

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Android Camera Application Developer with extensive Android application-development experience a deep understanding of camera technologies and proven expertise in improving application performance and user experience.

Required qualifications and skills:

• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering or a related field
• 3-8 years of Android application-development experience with a focus on camera applications
• Strong programming experience in Java and Kotlin including JNI
• Strong understanding of Jetpack libraries design patterns multithreading and operating-system concepts
• In-depth knowledge of Android components including activities fragments services broadcast receivers and content providers
• Hands-on expertise in Camera2 API and image-processing techniques
• Strong bug analysis and resolution skills with a focus on performance optimisation
• Experience using Android Profiler Systrace Logcat and LeakCanary for debugging and performance tuning
• Experience with Git and Perforce along with a good understanding of the Gradle build system
• Strong experience in unit-test and automation-test development
• Strong AI prompt-writing skills for code generation or bug fixing using coding agents such as Cursor and Copilot

Additional advantages:

• Understanding of C for native-code integration
• Experience using AI tools to improve development efficiency
• Android camera application-testing experience including identification and reporting of critical major and minor issues
