What youll be doing:
As a Senior Security Engineer embedded within the Security Operations teamyou will design build and continuously improve the technical capabilities thatunderpin how we detect investigate and respond to threats. You will work atthe intersection of engineering and operations turning security problemsinto scalable automated solutions. Your core responsibilities will be to:

• SIEM Engineering: Own the engineering of our SIEM platform includingonboarding and normalizing log sources building and maintainingparsers and ensuring high-fidelity data pipelines that underpindetection and investigation. Work to continuously improve log coveragedata quality and platform performance.
• Detection Engineering: Design develop and maintain a library of high-quality detections using a Detection as Code methodology managingdetection content through version control peer review and automatedtesting pipelines. Map detections to the MITRE ATT&CK framework andwork to continuously improve coverage precision and resilience
  against evasion.
• SOAR & Automation: Build and maintain automated workflows andplaybooks using SOAR platforms to streamline alert triage enrichmentand response. Identify manual and repetitive processes across thesecurity operations lifecycle and engineer solutions that allow the team to operate at scale.
• AI-Augmented Security Operations: Explore and operationalize the useof AI and machine learning to enhance security operations capabilities including alert triage incident response acceleration threatintelligence analysis threat hunting and the enrichment andprioritization of detection content. Evaluate emerging AI tooling andwork to embed it responsibly into team workflows.
• Threat Intelligence Integration: Consume and operationalize threatintelligence from internal and external sources integrating indicatorsand adversary context into detection logic SOAR playbooks andhunting activities. Work with threat intelligence feeds and platforms toensure actionable intelligence flows into security operations in a timely
  and structured way.
• Threat Hunting: Conduct proactive hypothesis-driven threat huntsacross the environment to identify attacker activity that evades existingdetections. Document and share findings in a structured way usinghunt outcomes to directly inform and improve detection engineeringand tooling.
• Incident Response Support: Provide engineering-level support duringsecurity incidents assisting with investigation containment andrecovery. Contribute to post-incident reviews and translate lessonslearned into improved detections playbooks and tooling.

What youll bring to the role:
We are looking for a technically strong security professional with hands-onexperience building and operating security capabilities in complex
environments. The ideal candidate will possess:

• Technical Security Experience: Significant experience in a securityengineering DevSecOps or equivalent role with a strong background insecuring cloud-native environments and modern application stacks.
• Detection & Response Skills: Practical experience developing and tuningSIEM detections writing threat hunting queries and participating in
  incident response activities.
• SecOps Tooling: Hands-on knowledge of administering and operating core security operations tools including SIEM platforms (e.g. SplunkMicrosoft Sentinel) EDR/XDR solutions vulnerability scanners andticketing or case management systems. Experience integrating thesetools to support detection investigation and response workflows.
• Threat Intelligence & Threat Hunting: Experience working with threatintelligence platforms and feeds (e.g. MISP Recorded FutureVirusTotal) and integrating intelligence into security tooling detectionlogic and operational processes. A working knowledge of threat huntingmethodologies and the ability to proactively identify indicators of
  compromise or attacker behavior across the environment is highlydesirable.
• Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in one or more scripting orprogramming languages (e.g. Python Go Bash) to build security tooling
  automate workflows and integrate security capabilities.
• Application Security Knowledge: Familiarity with secure developmentpractices OWASP top risks and the ability to perform code reviews or
  work with developers to remediate security findings.
• Security Frameworks & Standards: Working knowledge of relevantsecurity frameworks (e.g. NIST CSF CIS Benchmarks MITRE ATT&CK) and compliance standards such as SOC 2 or ISO 27001.
• Communication & Collaboration: Strong ability to articulate technicalsecurity risks and recommendations to both technical and non-technicalstakeholders and to work cross-functionally to deliver securityoutcomes.
• Incident Response & Digital Forensics: Hands-on experience leading orsupporting security incident investigations including evidencepreservation log and artifact analysis timeline reconstruction and rootcause identification. Familiarity with forensic tooling and methodologiesis highly sought after as is experience contributing to post-incident
  reviews and translating findings into actionable improvements.
