SAP SD with ECC

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly seasoned Lead SAP SD (Sales and Distribution) Consultant with over a decade of hands-on experience in SAP ECC 6.0. In this role you will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) and Solution Architect for our global sales logistics and distribution processes. You will be responsible for driving end-to-end implementations complex rollouts major enhancements and seamlessly integrating SAP SD with other enterprise modules and third-party legacy systems. You will bridge the gap between complex business requirements and technical SAP delivery while providing architectural direction and mentorship to junior team members.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

1. Solution Architecture & Configuration (ECC)

• Lead the blueprinting design and realization of complex Order-to-Cash (OTC) processes within SAP ECC 6.0 (EHP 7/8).

• Deep-dive configuration of core SD functionalities: Order Management Pricing and Conditions (Technique/Procedures) Billing & Invoicing Credit Management Shipping and Availability Check (ATP).

• Architect advanced SD scenarios including Third-Party Order Processing (TPOP) Intercompany Sales/Billing Consignment Stock Transport Orders (STO) and Rebate processing.

2. Integration & Custom Engineering

• Own cross-functional integration points with MM (Materials Management) FI/CO (Finance/Controlling) PP (Production Planning) and WM/EWM (Warehouse Management).

• Author detailed high-quality Functional Specifications (FSDs) for complex custom developments (RICEFW: Reports Interfaces Conversions Enhancements Forms Workflows).

• Collaborate closely with ABAP teams to debug code leverage User Exits BADIs BAPIs and EDI/IDoc configurations for third-party logistics (3PL) and e-commerce integrations.

3. Strategy Leadership & Stakeholder Management

• Serve as the trusted advisor to business stakeholders translating ambiguous global business requirements into scalable standard SAP solutions while minimizing custom code.

• Drive project scoping estimation risk mitigation and timeline planning for SD deliverables.

• Mentor and provide technical and functional governance to junior and mid-level functional consultants.

4. Operations Testing & Data Migration

• Lead the strategy for data migration (using LSMW BD10 or custom tools) for master data like Customer Master Material Master Pricing Conditions and Open Orders.

• Oversee comprehensive testing cycles (Unit Integration Regression and UAT) and manage Cutover and Post-Go-Live support planning.
